MTC Awarded $5.3 Million Contract to Support Air Force Simulator Systems Grouptitle
DAYTON, Ohio, Jan. 3 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- MTC Technologies, Inc. and
subsidiaries (Nasdaq: MTCT), a significant provider of engineering,
information technology, and other technical solutions to the Department of
Defense and national security agencies, announced today the company has been
awarded a $5.3 million task order by the Air Force Aeronautical Systems Center
(ASC).
Under the contract, MTC will provide the Simulator Systems Group with a
wide range of acquisition logistics; financial management; configuration and
data management; administrative support; security management; acquisition
management; test and evaluation management; engineering support; and subject
matter expertise, both for the U.S. Air Force and Foreign Military Sales
countries. Tasks will include, but are not limited to participation on
integrated product teams and related activities; analyzing problems; defining
alternative solutions; providing recommendations; writing reports; and other
specifically assigned work.
The period of performance for the task order is one year; this is the
sixth continuous year MTC has provided this support to the Simulator Systems
Group. The MTC Air Forces Groups Systems Management Division, based in
Dayton, will manage the work.
