AirTran Airways Launches Holiday Sale for Travel to All Destinationstitle

ORLANDO, Fla., Nov. 20 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- AirTran Airways, a
subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: AAI), today launched a holiday
sale for travel to all destinations with fares starting as low as $34 each
way.
"Spending time with friends and family during the holiday season is
particularly special," said AirTran Airways vice president of marketing and
sales Tad Hutcheson. "With sale fares this low, AirTran Airways can connect
you with your loved ones during the holiday season without burning a hole in
your pocket."
These special fares are only available for purchase through Monday,
November 21, 2005, and fares are good for travel from November 29, 2005,
through February 15, 2006. Sale fares are not available for travel on
Sundays. Like all of AirTran Airways fares, prices included in this sale are
available for one-way travel and do not require a roundtrip purchase or a
Saturday night stay.

person applies to any change made after purchase plus any applicable increase
in airfare. Seven-day advance purchase required. Tickets must be purchased by
November 21, 2005. Travel must be take place between November 29, 2005, and
February 15, 2006. Lowest advertised fares are valid for travel Tuesdays,
Wednesdays and Saturdays. Additional sale fares are valid for travel on
Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays. Sale fares not available for Sundays. Seats
are limited, subject to availability, and may not be available on all flights.
Blackout dates are as follows: December 21-23 and 26-30, 2005; January 2-4,

Fares do not include per-segment tax of $3.20. A segment is defined as one
takeoff and one landing. The September 11th security fee of up to $10 is not
included. Airport Passenger Facility Charges of up to $18 are not included.
Fares to/from Grand Bahama Island do not include U.S. and Bahamian taxes of up
to $89.20.
